Academic & Personal Counseling
You will have a dedicated advisor to whom you may speak about any challenges – or successes! – that you experience. We will help point you in the right direction!
University Admissions & Immigration Assistance
What are your plans after you complete your English Language Program? Would you like to transfer to a university in the United States? Or maybe you want to study in a degree program at City University of Seattle. We can help you make a plan for your future.
Conversation Partner Program
Want to practice your English more outside of class time? Our Student Services Coordinator will match you with one of our American students who is studying your native language for a weekly conversation session. You can meet each week to speak half of the time in English and half of the time in your native language so that both students can benefit!
Activities
You can’t learn English only in the classroom – you have to use it, too! Join us for a special activity during your classroom breaks or on the weekends. We might have a potluck lunch, a Super Bowl (American football) party, or take a trip to one of many local attractions! Our Activities Coordinator, Debbie Chan, hosts many of our activities and has a photo album of past activities which can be viewed here.
Volunteer Placement
Some students want to practice English outside of class while doing something they love. You could help at a hospital or at a food bank [giving food to people who need it], or you can talk to us about your interests and we will help you to find a volunteer activity. Most volunteer commitments are 3-6 months.
