TOEFL Preparation

These courses help you build the skills you need to excel on the test.  Learn strategies to help you on the computer-based and Next Generation TOEFL.*  Develop your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills as well as time management and test-taking skills.

TOEIC Preparation

This course helps students to prepare for the TOEIC test by familiarizing them with testing techniques and by expanding their English language proficiency in the global workplace. Students will be exposed to English in different business-related settings and situations. Open to students with an intermediate or higher level of English or a TOEFL score of 440 (123-cbt).

Pronunciation & Oral Communication

This course gives students a lot of practice and support in speaking. Students will learn more about using English in real-life situations. They will learn to express themselves clearly and effectively and to feel more comfortable in conversation with native speakers.

Business Communications

This course is designed for international students and business professionals who wish to improve their business English language skills. The course focuses on oral production-conducting interviews, responding to comments and handling telephone conversations. It also emphasizes the vocabulary of the business world. In addition, students learn about and practice communication in cultural and social contexts. Open to students with an intermediate or higher level of English or a 450 TOEFL (133-cbt) score or a 495 TOEIC score.
