Current Employment Opportunities:
WAL currently seeks French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Russian instructors to teach standard classes as well as custom programs.
Standard classes meet in the evenings, for 5 weeks, two nights/week. Each class meeting is for 3 hours.

During periods when there are no open positions that match your skills, individuals are welcome to send their resume to WAL for potential future employment. Resumes are considered and prospective candidates are contacted as positions become available.
World Language Instructor Employment Opportunities
To apply for a World Language Instructor position, you will need to go through the City University application process. The job description and application can be found here. Resumes should highlight teaching experience, professional training and relevant academic degrees. Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's degree in the language taught or a related field, be trained in communicative teaching methods and have demonstrable experience teaching in classroom settings to adults.
